Faux Diamonds Technique

Beuatiful birthday card, isn't it? I "creatively copied" this design from the April edition of Stampin' Success. What's special about this card is the shimmering background and details on the cake. Want to know how it's done?? On a peice of cardstock (in this case Almost Amethyst) sponge VersaMark ink. Cover with Hologram Highlights embossing powder and heat emboss. That's it! For the cake details, use the VersaMark Pen to highlight the areas you want to sparkle! A great technique to add some pizzaz to your handmade creations!
